COLOMBIAN GOLD – 100 PACK
Acapulco Gold was one of the parents of the hybrid Skunk No. 1, which was called “the backbone of the modern cannabis breeding world.” In 2014, High Times magazine named Acapulco Gold one of the greatest strains of all time. It is a landrace strain that has a long growing season and the plant can adapt to growing in different types of conditions.
About this strain
A cross that celebrates the legendary landrace Columbian, Miss Columbia crosses Cindy Le Pew and Columbian Black. Miss Columbia was bred with the goal of bringing the classic ‘60s strain back into circulation, and it reeks of tropical pineapple, melon, skunk, and diesel. As for the high, consumers can expect a soaring rush that may be a bit intense for the less experienced, but welcomed by any lover of racey strains.

This Sativa strain is the result of a combination of pure strains from the Santa Marta mountain range in Colombia that is home to the country’s highest peaks. Below 2,500m, where the soil is very fertile, can be found anything from typical Andean woods to dense tropical jungle.
Cannabis has been cultivated in this area for many generations and, by trying to improve the plant’s medicinal properties through continual interbreeding, the local inhabitants have achieved some of the most genetically pure strains in existence. Our breeder brought back many seeds from this region and we worked with them to produce this tall, vigorous, branchy strain with an intense, sweet fragrance that stands out above all for her taste and potent, psychedelic effects.
Colombian Gold Feminised Seeds
Colombian Gold is a 75% sativa cannabis plant that was bred from a selection of different strains found in the Santa Marta mountains of Colombia. The indigenous people of this region have cultivated cannabis over many generations and they use it as medicine.
Colombian Gold is a tall, vigorous cannabis hybrid strain that grows plenty of side-branches and which has a rather long flowering period of between 11 and 13 weeks. As it will not be ready to harvest until late November outdoors in the northern hemisphere it is only recommended in this environment in regions where frosts and poor weather will not damage it before this time or otherwise in a greenhouse environment. Indoor cultivators are strongly recommended to employ an air-filtration system as the smell produced during flowering is very strong. Indoor yields are in the region of 350 gr/m2 with outdoor plants producing 450 – 600 gr/plant.
The aroma is intensely sweet and the dried buds have a sweet fruity flavour. THC production has been measured at 19.3% making the effect very potent, cerebral and, at times, quite psychedelic. Get ready for an amazing trip!
